Rome Esoteric is a 3 days mystical journey across one the most beautiful cities in the world to discover the hidden gems of her spiritual heritage, connect to the ancient pagan gods and receive healing along the way. 

Before Constantine founded the state religion in 313 AD and Rome became the centre of the Catholic church which still dominates worldwide long after the ashes of the empire have been scattered to the winds , Rome was the Babylon of paganism. Spiritual syncretism was a political strategy as well as a collective sentiment. The empire embraced the faith of the cultures it invaded and promoted pagan practices among its citizens. Every household had an altar and both the gentry and the peasantry prayed to a colourful plethora of Gods and Goddesses of various ranks from Egypt, Greece and beyond. During our mystical walk around Rome, we discover some of the myths and legends of these divine beings who can provide guidance for our inner journey.

Rome is the largest city in Italy, the third most populous city in the European Union and she hosts the only existing example of a country within a city, the Vatican (the smallest country in the world). Considered to be the "cradle of Western civilisation and Christian culture", Rome history spans 28 centuries but she has been a settlement for 14000 years Layer upon layer of human history woven into the very fabric of the world as we know it today. Rome didn't fall with the empire, she has continued to rise and evolve as a global centre , shapeshifting from the imperial times through the middle ages , across the renaissance and into the modern city of today, a centre of art, fashion, world politics and more.  At the heart of Rome lays a deep well of spirituality and an unending love of beauty. Rome lives atop the ancient stones, tickling the imagination, awakening memories and encouraging us to find the threads of our own story.

Being Italian, I had the fortune to visit Rome many times throughout my life and every time I fell in love with her over again. The richness of history, depth of culture and spirit of the people have no equals. Also called The Eternal City and "Caput Mundi" (Capital of the World), Rome has the many faces and qualities of a true gem. Below her imperialistic hat, Rome is soft at heart, a creative Being who guards mysteries and legends awaiting to be heard, felt and discovered. Mysteries which I'm happy to share with you on a sacred journey across the landscape of ancient times ...

This is not a tour and I'm  a medicine woman so I'm going to take you on a walk through the ancient city on the footsteps of Asclepius and Vesta, healers of old, following the threads of mythology and esotericism to be inspired and awaken the wisdom of the ages  within psyche, bones and dreams.We will visit iconic place and hidden gems and in true Roman spirit, we will weave the sacred with the profane and be seduced by the contemporary art scene, the culinary experience, the promenades and the shopping.Please note that Rome is a very big city with incredible places to visit  at every corner, which we could not possibly squeeze all into our journey.  The places I selected are aligned with my field of expertise.
