Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by Cinzia Sarigu, including online events, courses, one-to-one sessions, retreats, and membership or subscription programmes. By booking, registering, or purchasing any service or digital product, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Nature of Services
All services offered by Cinzia Sarigu are spiritual and educational in nature. They draw on Mayan, Toltec, Celtic, and related shamanic traditions and are intended to support personal and spiritual development.
Services are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health support, psychiatric treatment, or any other regulated healthcare provision. No service offered is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical or psychological condition or illness.
Participants are encouraged to continue working with their healthcare providers and to seek appropriate professional advice for any medical or psychological concerns. Participation in any service does not replace or supersede the guidance of a qualified medical or mental health professional.
Participants remain fully responsible for their own wellbeing, choices, and actions throughout and after any engagement with Cinzia Sarigu.
2. Services Covered
These terms apply to:

Online courses and events– live and pre-recorded, delivered via Zoom and a private members area

One-to-one sessions – individual spiritual guidance, ceremony facilitation, and mentorship

In-person retreats – held in the UK and abroad

Membership and subscription programmes – ongoing group circles, communities, and practice spaces

Digital products
Specific details for each booking, including dates, format, investment, and any additional terms, are provided at the point of registration or booking.
3. Payments
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless a specific payment plan has been agreed in writing. Prices are stated in the currency displayed on the relevant booking or purchasing page. The total amount payable, including any applicable taxes, will be shown before the purchase is completed.
Where a payment plan is offered, you commit to completing all instalments regardless of whether you continue to attend or participate. Failure to complete agreed payments may result in loss of access to the service.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Online Courses and Events
The dates, format, price, duration and access arrangements for each course or event will be stated on the relevant course page or booking form. Where additional course-specific terms are provided before purchase, they apply alongside these general Terms and Conditions.
1. Live courses and events on specific dates
Bookings for live courses and events scheduled for a specific date or period are non-refundable, except where the participant has a statutory right to cancel or where Cinzia Sarigu cancels the course or event.
Where a statutory 14-day cancellation right applies, the cancellation period begins the day after the booking is made. To cancel, the participant must notify Cinzia Sarigu clearly in writing at info@ixchel-arte.com.
If the participant cancels within the statutory cancellation period and the course or event has not begun, they will receive a full refund.
If the participant expressly requests that the course or event begin during the 14-day cancellation period and subsequently cancels within that period, Cinzia Sarigu may retain a reasonable and proportionate amount for the sessions, preparation, materials and other services already supplied.
Once the statutory cancellation period has ended, no refund or credit will be provided if the participant changes their mind, withdraws from the course or is unable to attend.
Failure to attend a live session does not entitle the participant to a refund, replacement session or credit. Where a recording is provided, the participant will be able to access it according to the arrangements stated in the individual course description.
If Cinzia Sarigu has to cancel an entire course or event, participants will be offered an alternative date or a refund. If part of a course cannot be delivered and no suitable alternative can be arranged, a proportionate refund will be provided for the part not supplied.
Nothing in this policy affects the participant’s statutory rights.
2. Recorded, self-paced and downloadable courses
Where a recorded, self-paced or downloadable course is purchased online, the participant may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days beginning the day after the purchase is made.
If access to the course or digital materials has not yet been supplied, the participant may cancel during this period by contacting info@ixchel-arte.com and will receive a full refund.
Where the participant expressly requests immediate access to digital content during the 14-day cancellation period, they will be asked to acknowledge that their right to cancel the digital content will be lost once its supply begins. Once access has been provided or a download has begun following this express agreement, no refund will be provided because the participant has changed their mind.
The period for which recordings and course materials remain available will be stated in the individual course description. Unless the course description expressly states that materials are downloadable, access is provided only through the designated course platform.
Where recordings or materials are expressly offered as downloads, participants may download and retain them for their personal use. All recordings, written materials and other course content remain the intellectual property of Cinzia Sarigu and must not be shared, copied, published, resold or distributed.
If digital content is faulty, materially different from its description or cannot be accessed because of a problem within Cinzia Sarigu’s control, the participant should contact Cinzia Sarigu so that the problem can be corrected or another appropriate remedy provided.
Nothing in this policy affects the participant’s statutory rights.
One-to-One Sessions
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments without notice, will be charged in full. Sessions cancelled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled at mutual convenience.
Retreats
Retreat deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel more than 90 days before the retreat start date, any balance paid will be refunded in full, minus the deposit. If you cancel between 60 and 90 days before the start date, 50% of the balance paid will be refunded, minus the deposit. Cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable, as costs will have been committed.
Memberships and Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle. Annual memberships may be cancelled at any time, but are non-refundable; access continues until the end of the paid year.
Changes to Services
In exceptional circumstances, session dates, formats, or content may need to be adjusted. Participants will be informed as early as possible. In the event that Cinzia Sarigu must cancel a service entirely (for example, a retreat that cannot proceed), a full refund will be issued. Cinzia Sarigu is not liable for any additional costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation.
5. Recordings and Materials
Live sessions for online courses and group programmes may be recorded. By registering for a recorded course or programme, participants consent to the recording of the sessions. Participants who do not wish to appear on camera may keep their camera switched off without affecting their participation.
Unless the individual course description states otherwise, recordings and course materials are made available to enrolled participants through the private members’ area of Cinzia Sarigu’s website for the duration of the course and for up to 12 months afterwards.
Where an individual course expressly states that recordings or materials are downloadable, participants may download and retain them for their personal use.
Recordings and materials must not be shared with anyone outside the enrolled group, copied, published, resold or distributed.
6. Confidentiality and Group Participation
Cinzia Sarigu is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in respect of all information disclosed during one-to-one sessions. No personal information shared in a private session will be communicated to any third party without the explicit written consent of the client, except where disclosure is required by law.
In group settings, all participants are required to respect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow participants. Any personal information, experiences, or disclosures shared by other participants within the session must be treated as strictly confidential and must not be disclosed, discussed, or disseminated outside of the group environment, including but not limited to social media, written communications, or private conversations.
Participants acknowledge that they retain full responsibility for determining what personal information they choose to disclose within a group setting. Cinzia Sarigu endeavours to hold the space with care and integrity; however, she cannot be held liable for the conduct of other participants in relation to confidentiality.
Any behaviour deemed disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful to other participants will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the session or programme without entitlement to a refund.
7. Health, Safety, and Personal Responsibility
Participation in any service offered by Cinzia Sarigu is entirely voluntary. All participants are responsible for assessing their own readiness to engage with spiritual work and are encouraged to seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional if they have any concerns about their physical, emotional, or psychological wellbeing . Any information shared with Cinzia Sarigu regarding a participant's health will be treated in strict confidence and used solely to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Cinzia Sarigu reserves the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue a booking where she has reasonable grounds to believe that participation may not be in the best interests of the individual concerned.
Such decisions will be made with care, sensitivity, and in full compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and any other applicable legislation, ensuring that no participant is treated less favourably on the basis of a protected characteristic, including but not limited to disability, age, gender, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
For all in-person events, participants are required to comply with any health and safety guidelines provided by the facilitator. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event. Cinzia Sarigu holds appropriate public liability insurance in respect of all her activities.
8. Technology
For online services, participants are responsible for having adequate internet access and the ability to use the required platforms (including Zoom and the Ixchel Healing Arts members area). Cinzia Sarigu cannot be held responsible for technical issues on the participant's side or for service interruptions by third-party platforms.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Cinzia Sarigu is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all clients and participants in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal data is collected solely for the purposes of administering bookings, delivering services, and communicating with clients in relation to those services. Your data will not be sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent, except where required by law or necessary for the performance of the contracted service.
Under the UK GDPR you have the following rights in respect of your personal data: the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your data, and the right to data portability where technically feasible.
Personal data will be retained only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. All data is processed on the lawful basis of contractual necessity and, where applicable, legitimate interests.

10. Copyright
All teachings, recordings, written materials, guided practices, images and other content created by Cinzia Sarigu are protected by copyright and remain her intellectual property at all times. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, distributed, published, or reproduced in any form, whether in whole or in part, and whether for personal, commercial, or any other purpose, without prior written permission.
Where session recordings are made available, these are provided exclusively for the personal use of registered participants. They may not be shared with, forwarded to, or accessed by anyone who has not registered for the relevant service. Unauthorised sharing or reproduction of any content may constitute copyright infringement and Cinzia Sarigu reserves the right to take appropriate action to protect her work.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
