Making your own raw chocolate is super easy
RECIPE
Place 15gm chopped raw cacao butter & 50gm chopped cacao paste in a bowl.
Gently warm the bowl in a saucepan of slightly simmering water. Stir with a metal spoon to blend.
Once blended, switch off the heat and add a pinch of sea salt, a pinch of vanilla powder or a ¼ tsp vanilla essence and a tablespoon of agave syrup.
Stir well.
Lift bowl from the warm water, wipe the base with a clean tea towel and pour chocolate into a small plastic box about 5 inches (12cms) square. Pop in freezer for 15 to 20 minutes.
Take out and flex the box slightly to loosen the chocolate slab
Chop into squares on a clean board.
Try not to eat all at once
It’s potent so don’t eat just before bedtime as it’s pretty pokey
Experiment with adding chopped fruit or gogi berries or a drop of peppermint oil or orange oil
In the photo the hearts had a drop pf orange essential oil and the squares had a dro pf rose otto essential oil and gogi berries and were sprinkled with rose petals
