About the Event
In the Mayan tradition, the Deer is one of the sacred guardians of the natural world. Keeper of the four directions, holder of the four pillars that sustain the balance of life.
Where the Year of Wind brought movement and rapid change, the Year of the Deer suggests a different rhythm.
After the intensity of last year, the Deer helps us to touch the ground again.
This cycle promises stability, good relations, and gentleness. A time to return to the forest, to the mountains, to the heartbeat of the earth, and to the quiet space within our heart.
In this workshop we explore the meaning of the Year of the Deer, and how its energy may shape the landscape of 2026, collectively and in our personal lives. Together we will open sacred space to honour the Mayan tradition, you will learn about the energetics of the year from the lens…
