Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by Cinzia Sarigu, including online events, courses, one-to-one sessions, retreats, and membership or subscription programmes. By booking, registering, or purchasing any service or digital product, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
1. Nature of Services
All services offered by Cinzia Sarigu are spiritual and educational in nature. They draw on Mayan, Toltec, Celtic, and related shamanic traditions and are intended to support personal and spiritual development.
Services are not a substitute for professional medical care, mental health support, psychiatric treatment, or any other regulated healthcare provision. No service offered is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any physical or psychological condition or illness.
Participants are encouraged to continue working with their healthcare providers and to seek appropriate professional advice for any medical or psychological concerns. Participation in any service does not replace or supersede the guidance of a qualified medical or mental health professional.
Participants remain fully responsible for their own wellbeing, choices, and actions throughout and after any engagement with Cinzia Sarigu.
2. Services Covered
These terms apply to:

Online courses and events– live and pre-recorded, delivered via Zoom and a private members area

One-to-one sessions – individual spiritual guidance, ceremony facilitation, and mentorship

In-person retreats – held in the UK and abroad

Membership and subscription programmes – ongoing group circles, communities, and practice spaces

Digital products
Specific details for each booking, including dates, format, investment, and any additional terms, are provided at the point of registration or booking.
3. Payments
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless a specific payment plan has been agreed in writing. Prices are stated in British Pounds (GBP). All prices include any applicable taxes.
Where a payment plan is offered, you commit to completing all instalments regardless of whether you continue to attend or participate. Failure to complete agreed payments may result in loss of access to the service.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Online Courses/Events
A full refund is available within 14 days of booking, provided the course has not yet started and you have not accessed the course materials. Once the course has begun or materials have been accessed, payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to continue, you will retain access to materials already provided, but no partial refund will be issued.
One-to-One Sessions
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed appointments without notice, will be charged in full. Sessions cancelled with sufficient notice may be rescheduled at mutual convenience.
Retreats
Retreat deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel more than 90 days before the retreat start date, any balance paid will be refunded in full, minus the deposit. If you cancel between 60 and 90 days before the start date, 50% of the balance paid will be refunded, minus the deposit. Cancellations made within 60 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable, as costs will have been committed.
Memberships and Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time with effect from the next billing cycle. Annual memberships may be cancelled at any time, but are non-refundable; access continues until the end of the paid year.
Digital Products
Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. No refunds can be issued once a digital product has been purchased and download access has been granted. 5. Changes to Services
In exceptional circumstances, session dates, formats, or content may need to be adjusted. Participants will be informed as early as possible. In the event that Cinzia Sarigu must cancel a service entirely (for example, a retreat that cannot proceed), a full refund will be issued. Cinzia Sarigu is not liable for any additional costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation.
6. Confidentiality and Group Participation
Cinzia Sarigu is committed to maintaining strict confidentiality in respect of all information disclosed during one-to-one sessions. No personal information shared in a private session will be communicated to any third party without the explicit written consent of the client, except where disclosure is required by law.
In group settings, all participants are required to respect the privacy and confidentiality of fellow participants. Any personal information, experiences, or disclosures shared by other participants within the session must be treated as strictly confidential and must not be disclosed, discussed, or disseminated outside of the group environment, including but not limited to social media, written communications, or private conversations.
Participants acknowledge that they retain full responsibility for determining what personal information they choose to disclose within a group setting. Cinzia Sarigu endeavours to hold the space with care and integrity; however, she cannot be held liable for the conduct of other participants in relation to confidentiality.
Any behaviour deemed disrespectful, disruptive, or harmful to other participants will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the session or programme without entitlement to a refund.
7. Health, Safety, and Personal Responsibility
Participation in any service offered by Cinzia Sarigu is entirely voluntary. All participants are responsible for assessing their own readiness to engage with spiritual work and are encouraged to seek guidance from a qualified healthcare professional if they have any concerns about their physical, emotional, or psychological wellbeing . Any information shared with Cinzia Sarigu regarding a participant's health will be treated in strict confidence and used solely to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Cinzia Sarigu reserves the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue a booking where she has reasonable grounds to believe that participation may not be in the best interests of the individual concerned.
Such decisions will be made with care, sensitivity, and in full compliance with the Equality Act 2010 and any other applicable legislation, ensuring that no participant is treated less favourably on the basis of a protected characteristic, including but not limited to disability, age, gender, race, religion or belief, or sexual orientation.
For all in-person events, participants are required to comply with any health and safety guidelines provided by the facilitator. Failure to do so may result in removal from the event. Cinzia Sarigu holds appropriate public liability insurance in respect of all her activities.
8. Technology
For online services, participants are responsible for having adequate internet access and the ability to use the required platforms (including Zoom and the Ixchel Healing Arts members area). Cinzia Sarigu cannot be held responsible for technical issues on the participant's side or for service interruptions by third-party platforms.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Cinzia Sarigu is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all clients and participants in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and any applicable Scottish data protection legislation.
Personal data is collected solely for the purposes of administering bookings, delivering services, and communicating with clients in relation to those services. Your data will not be sold, transferred, or disclosed to any third party without your explicit consent, except where such disclosure is required by law or necessary for the performance of the contracted service (for example, sharing relevant details with a retreat venue).
Under the UK GDPR you have the following rights in respect of your personal data: the right to access the personal data held about you; the right to request rectification of any inaccurate data; the right to request erasure of your personal data in certain circumstances; the right to restrict or object to the processing of your data; and the right to data portability where technically feasible.
Personal data will be retained only for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. All data is processed on the lawful basis of contractual necessity and, where applicable, legitimate interests.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the supervisory authority for data protection in the United Kingdom, at www.ico.org.uk.
10. Copyright
All teachings, recordings, written materials, guided practices, images and other content created by Cinzia Sarigu are protected by copyright and remain her intellectual property at all times. They are provided for your personal use only and may not be copied, shared, distributed, published, or reproduced in any form, whether in whole or in part, and whether for personal, commercial, or any other purpose, without prior written permission.
Where session recordings are made available, these are provided exclusively for the personal use of registered participants. They may not be shared with, forwarded to, or accessed by anyone who has not registered for the relevant service. Unauthorised sharing or reproduction of any content may constitute copyright infringement and Cinzia Sarigu reserves the right to take appropriate action to protect her work.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
